My Story
Hi there! I’m Kristen—an autism mom on a mission to spread a little joy wherever I can. My journey into the world of freshies started unexpectedly in April 2021 when I stumbled across this craft and instantly fell in love. I shared a few TikToks just for fun, and before I knew it, they went viral!
What began as a simple hobby turned into something much bigger after the heartbreaking loss of my daughter’s father to a fentanyl overdose in August 2021. I took time off to focus on my mental health, and through that healing, I realized just how short and precious life is. So in February 2022, I followed my heart, left my full-time job, and went all-in on my dream—launching Smell Ya Later Freshie.
Every item is handmade with love right here in Alvin, TX. Whether it’s a car freshie, salt sizzler, or carpet dust, my hope is that each product brings a little joy and personality into your space. Thanks for being a part of this journey!
