My Story

Hi there! I’m Kristen, an autism mom with a mission to spread a little joy to your world. My journey into the craft of freshies began unexpectedly when I stumbled upon this creative art and instantly fell in love. In April 2021, I shared a few TikTok videos—and before I knew it, they went viral! What started as a fun side hustle quickly became a full-time passion after the tragic loss of my daughter’s father in August 2021. Taking time off to focus on my mental health was essential, and through that process, I realized how short life truly is. I knew I had to pursue what made me happiest, so in February 2022, I took a leap of faith and left my full-time job to turn my dream into reality. That’s when Smell Ya Later Freshie officially launched. Each item is handmade with love in my home in Alvin, TX, and I’m honored to share a little bit of joy with each person who experiences them.
